近年来,随着教育改革的不断深入,幼儿园教育越来越注重children's holistic development, especially in physical education. In this article, I will reflect on the sports activities in a senior infants' class and propose some improvements for a space-themed sports course.


活动回顾

In the past physical education activities, we tried various methods to excite children's interest in physical education. For example, we organized outdoor games such as hopscotch, running races, and relay races. We also integrated storytelling and music into physical activities to make learning more engaging. Additionally, we introduced the concept of space through storytelling and art activities, which helped children develop a sense of wonder and curiosity about the universe.

One of the highlights of the activity was a space-themed obstacle course. The children were divided into groups and had to complete the course as quickly as possible. Some children showed great enthusiasm, while others struggled with certain tasks. Overall, the children seemed to enjoy the activities, and their participation was higher than I had anticipated.


存在的问题

Despite the positive outcomes, there were some issues in the implementation process. First, the activity duration was limited, which made it difficult for children to focus on the activities for the entire duration. Second, the preparation was not thorough enough, and some materials were not available in sufficient quantities. Third, the activities were not well-designed, and some tasks were too challenging for the children, leading to frustration.

Furthermore, the integration of space-themed activities was not seamless. While the storytelling and art activities were well-received, the physical activities were somewhat disjointed. This disjointedness may have caused some children to lose interest or become disengaged.

反思与改进

Through this class, I deeply reflected on the previous activity design and preparation issues. The activity form was somewhat limited, but introducing binoculars and magnifying glasses significantly improved children's observation skills. The interaction problems were also addressed, and children's engagement in observation and painting increased. Safety education was strengthened, and children's awareness of safety improved.

I also recognized some areas for improvement. In terms of preparation, I need to prepare materials and equipment more thoroughly to ensure smooth activity execution. Time management could be improved to allow more time for observation and exploration.

Through this practice, I realized the importance of considering children's age characteristics and interests in physical activities. I also recognized the significance of ensuring activity safety and scientific quality. I understand the crucial role of the teacher in activity preparation and implementation, and I am committed to continuously reflecting and improving to support children's holistic development.

This class has deepened my understanding of the importance of physical activities in early childhood education. It has also reinforced my resolve to continuously reflect and improve in my teaching practice. I believe that through ongoing learning and practice, I can design more engaging and appropriate physical activities for children, helping them grow and develop.
